About the Wytches’ Market

Origins:

The Glastonbury Wytches’ Market was founded by Adrian & Ann Bryn-Evans, creating The Wytches’ Market Ltd. in May 2012.

The aims of the markets where threefold:

  • To bring together like-minded artists, craftspeople and purveyors of magical goods for an event which is sociable and financially rewarding.
  • To attract visitors and locals to a thoroughly enjoyable day in Glastonbury.
  • To raise funds for a variety of wonderful charities.

All money raised at these events was, after expenses, helped fund local projects, small charities and museums.

They first began running charity events back in the 80’s, and after over a decade of running The Wytches Market, Adrian and Ann retired in 2023.

Now:

Not wanting to lose an established and well-loved event, a small team of long-time regular traders voluntarily took over the market. They formed the Wytches Market Committee, and have been successfully running the event ever since.

The Wytches Market is a non-profit event, and continues donating all proceeds to various charities.

We are proud to showcase original, top quality, human-made Art and Craft, with no AI Art or mass produced, brought in items.

Our Markets are held in Glastonbury Town hall three times a year and attract visitors from across the UK and beyond, and are FREE ENTRY.
